A. Essential job functions:
Ensure cleanliness of ALL dishware, glassware, pots & pans, as the entire kitchen.
B. Duties & responsibilities:
· Communicate with supervisor and learn daily work tasks.
· Proper use of chemical products for dishwasher and other outlets.
· Clean floors and walls in all areas of the kitchen.
· Take out all garbage/dispose neatly/ and break down boxes.
· Place clean china and glassware back in appropriate areas.
· Clean pots & pans and store upside down.
· Keep all shelves and storage areas clean and organized item by item.
· Polish all silver on a daily basis and separate them
· Bleach all cutting boards once a week.
· Supply all necessary equipment to the kitchen.
· Supply all necessary equipment requested by Banquet Chef based upon equipment requests.
· Help the kitchen plate the food.
· Report any maintenance or security problems.
· Assist in any request being asked by a supervisor.
· Check with supervisor at the completion of work shift.
C. Physical Abilities Needed for Position:
· Understand / Speak English
· Ability to walk up flights of stairs
· Ability to lift a minimum 25 lbs.
· Ability to bend without restriction.
· Able to endure warm temperatures.
· Able to push 50 lbs.
· Able to stand for extended periods of time.
· Able to take direction from supervisors.
